Instructor development

Wavecrest has had a fantastic summer this year with loads of people trying scuba at the different holiday resorts we work with, we have had a great crew this year as well with Beccie, Tom, Phil and myself working harder than ever.
We also have some great news Tom our recent divemaster has just passed his OWSI Open Water Scuba Instructors course and we wish him all the best and welcome him to the teaching team.
We are closing down over the Christmas period this year as we have decided to go away for the holiday season.

Summer

We have had a fantastic summer, lots of things have happened, Tom our resident photographer has decided to join the teaching team, doing his IDC this October and we wish him all the best, Phil our intern divemaster has done well, growing with confidence as the season has gone on, Beccie our young lady instructor has continued her growth within the company and is doing really well and Mark has gain lots more instructor ratings in Equipment specialist and Night Diver, gaing more over the next few months with Semi Closed Rebreather, Trimix Blending Instructor,Multi Level diver instructor to name just a few.
Our plans to grow are coming along nicely with Mark applying for his Course Director and hoping to achieve it early next year, fingers crossed

Advanced open water

Great dives yesterday with our friend Ian, congratulations to both him and Beccie, another course for our newest instructor and another step closer to Master Scuba Diver for Ian, keep going guys your doing Wavecrest really proud, now time for some proper dives Ian no more skills for a while......

Dive site

We have started diving at our new and exclusive dive site in the St.Austell bay area, it's been great so far, shallow with so much life, we have dead man's fingers, spider crab, wrasse, pollock, bass and lots more, come along and meet us, dive the site and have a beer in the bar afterwards...

Courses

With summer starting we have just started to take lots of bookings for courses, 2 open water an advanced and a rescue, looks like this could be an amazing summer

Holiday

We are still looking to book our Red Sea trip for next year, we have booked 'The Best of the Wrecks and The Brothers' it's going to be a fantastic trip, normally costs £1200 but this is a fantastic trip at an amazing price of £999 per person.

We have 22 places at the moment but we have lots of interest and lots of people wanting more information, lots of people know what a fantastic price this is, don't delay book this

Shop

Well after nearly 10 years of running Wavecrest I have finally come to the decision to join the 21st century and build an online shop #onlinestore it's been hard going but I have finally managed to get over 150 items on there from courses to drysuits, more will be added as time goes on but I'm pacing myself....
We have also built out first prototype bbtank/tank-b-q and are really looking forward to getting that fired up for summer.... #summer #bbtank #tankbq
Thursday evening dives have started again and although the weather hasn't been kind to us we are slowly getting more interest as the weeks go on, soon be time for a pub night I think......
