Liquidvision Xeo

Over the last month I have been lucky enough to be able to test the Sea and Sea Liquidvision Xeo dive computer and I can honestly say its a fantastic computer, ready for Open Circuit or CCR Rebreather with nitrox and trimix capability this is ready for whatever you want to do....
With its fully user changeable colour screen you can adjust screen brightness whilst on a dive, change gas or put the computer into emergency mode with the simplest of taps, yes! no buttons to worry about on this computer.... simply tap the top, bottom or side of the computer and you have easy access to the menu.....
If your looking for a new computer or haven't got one yet and want something that's future proof then look no further that a liquidvision Xeo......

Jelly fish

We dived at Porthkerris yesterday for the last 2 dives of an Open Water, really good dives, great skills shown and no problems, well done to Martyn Tozer and many thanks to Becci for the Divemaster..... Always a pleasure to teach new people to dive and its so satisfying when they come out with a huge smile on their face...... Always nice to see new things and to swim with a barrel jelly fish the size we had was a privilege, so graceful in the water

Compressor

We at last our new compressor has Been ordered!! Great compressor that will allow us to fill up to 300 bar, we will be one of only a few places in Cornwall that can fill to that pressure.... We have decided to have a brand new panel made with 4 charging whips at 232 bar and one off the compreasor that will be a 300 bar whip, we have decided to have a sensor fitted to monitor air quality and 2 filters allowing us to make nitrox at a latter date.... The spectrum analasyis that we are having done for our air quality is not like any other school in Cornwall so our air will be of the best quality, the spectrum analysis is done in a lab with visual spectrum analysis being far more accurate than the old tube test....

Dives

We had a couple of amazing dives today, that's another hour and a half underwater, great to see so many spider crab coming in, lots of huge wrasse and a lovely little cuttlefish that wasn't overly happy to see us.
The site has change loads after the winter storms with lots of new rocks and swim throughs to play in, the lifeboat slip looks like it's taken a good beating over the winter.
Unfortunately we didn't see the seal but hey there's always next time.

First Aid

Just finished Dave and Lynn's EFR training, always good to see the guys again and nice to teach someone who is always out on the road how to help! Coach drivers are always surrounded by people and most of them are getting on in years so being able to do first aid is a must
